Well it's time to run. It's a new year, new opportunities. No more comfort zone... mobilize. No, I'm not talking about a new exercise program, but rather attitude. God has given us a great vision as a church... notice I said church. That vision is to reach people that don't know God, by acts of mercy, looking for new opportunities. 

Passion is a word that has been big on my heart lately... like God is driving that deeper into my being. Why passion? Think about it... the things we are passionate about really have priority in our lives. In fact the things that drive our lives... that cause us to pursue what ever we pursue, are birthed out of our passion. If we are passionate about God, we pursue Him. Makes sense in a simple, yet deep way.

So, as a God follower and Pastor, I've been meditating and praying over this for a few weeks now. The more I think on it, the more I'm convinced... there is more! I believe God is realigning our lives... helping us to see that the things we've placed such a great emphasis on can suddenly disappear... i.e. have you noticed the economy lately? Yet what we do for God and people last forever... you know people really do!

What does that mean for COTH... hmm... relevant Christianity... back to driven by the vision. Get ready!
